Roster Additions...
for G2 thru J2 will be cut off Sunday, June 27 at 11:59pm. After this date/time you will not be able to add any more players to your team's roster.

Spares
Just so you know, once a division's season ends they can no longer spare for a team in our league. For example, after this weekend, NO teams can pick up spares from A thru G1. You can only pick up from teams that are currently playing their regular season games.
Remember, NO pick ups for the Year end Tournament.

Impaired Driving...
As you've probably heard, earlier this year the government of B.C. announced the toughest impaired driving laws in Canada, slated to take effect this fall. Alcohol remains one of the leading causes of fatal car crashes. Police will be out in full force looking for impaired drivers at roadchecks across the province.
To help implement this significant change, ICBC is leading a public awareness campaign, working closely with government, police and key stakeholders like you. Click on the photo at the right for more information
B.C.s tougher new impaired driving laws and harsher penalties will soon be in effect and were reminding everyone that CounterAttack road checks are on in July and August. People who drink and drive will get caught.

Show your colours...
The league has the new logo available in decal form, available at the MAP concession. It's cut to the contour of the leaf.
Any coach/manager of a team can get two free decals, just email Prez with your team name + address & they'll be dropped in the mail.
UPDATE: If you have not requested any decals, your team can get them at the Year-end Tournament's @ tourney HQ.

CONFUSION !!!
There seems to be some confusion as to player additions. Having some issues.
One: You must download and fill out the SPN Tourney Roster for player additions AND fax [604-574-0695] or email to Prez !!
Two: You must goto Coach admin, Login and "ADD" the new player[s].
Three: The League will then "ACTIVATE" the new player[s] so they will be displayed online.
Failure to do the two steps will prohibit the player[s] from participating. Remember, ANY Player not on a SPN Roster has NO, repeat, NO Insurance. Any injuries will NOT be covered !!!
Managers / Coaches, it's up to you to make sure your players are covered.

Roster Addition Form
We are using the SPN 2010 Tournament Entry Form for player additions.
To ADD players to your SPN-BC Roster you will have to download a SPN-BC Tournament Roster form, fill it out and have the player sign it. ONCE this is done you can fax to Prez [604-574-0695] or scan it and email Prez. The League will then forward it to SPN-BC. DO NOT SEND IT TO SPN-BC direct.
You can add a maximum of two players as per League Rules Section 3, item 8...
However, due to the amount of changes we have been getting, and the ability to add players online, the Exec have made a decision to allow a max of four (4) players to your teams rosters.
We'll see how this works during the 2010 season There will be a cut off period based on when the YET are. These cut off dates will be posted at a later date.

Bases and plugs
As some teams are NOT putting all parts away, {a fine will be applied], here's a reminder:
All base equipment MUST be put away after the last game. This includes the magnetic plate at 2nd & 3rd AND putting the rubber plugs into place. Don't forget to LOCK the Job Box !!

Approved Bats
Please goto this site to see which bats are legal for play with SPN & Langley Mixed.
Both organizations adopt the ASA policy for permitted bats.

Players, please abide by the No Parking signs on 215A. You may be ticketed and/or towed if you park at these locations. DO NOT park in front of the care takers place, you will 100% be towed.
